This table is absolutely unbelievably gorgeous. I furniture shopped in bricks and mortar stores extensively before buying this, and did not see anything comparable for under $2000. I love it, it's a beautiful statement piece in my dining/living room. That said, I must add that it was poorly packaged, the box was literally falling apart, the protective styrofoam breaking into bits as the delivery guy brought it inside. I asked him to wait while I inspected it, but I only looked at the table top. There were 2 chips on the table edge that I didn't notice. It's very heavy, the poor packaging did not protect the edge from the weight of the table resting on it. The company was very willing to work with me. They were obviously concerned about keeping an Amazon customer happy. I did not want to re-order and go through the waiting again. Furniture buying these days seems always very dicey and I figured I could end up with a worse flaw or defect. They sent me a scratch repair kit, and took 10% off the price. This was fine with me, as the piece looks great, flaws are not noticeable, and the price was already bargain basement. Despite the problems, I still give it 5 stars because it looks so good and was so inexpensive.
